Yes — every Mrs. Mailbox piece is handcrafted in Connecticut using premium-quality materials selected for durability, functionality, and timeless design. Materials vary by product and may include wood, steel, and other weather-resistant components.
In-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom orders vary depending on materials and design. We'll always confirm your estimated timeline after your order is placed.
Yes — custom work is one of our favorite things to do. Please contact us through our Contact Page or email us with your model, preferred color, and timeline. We'll follow up with details and a personalized quote.
Yes — changes or cancellations are possible before production begins. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to help. No fees apply to approved changes made before production starts.
Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship within the United States only. Local delivery and pickup are also available throughout Connecticut.
A shipping quote is your exact delivery cost based on your location and carrier rates. We'll review your address and email your quote within 24 hours. Once approved, we'll send you a secure payment link by email.
Yes — a signature is required upon delivery so your order arrives safely and remains fully insured.
We offer local delivery throughout Connecticut, Monday through Saturday. Delivery fees are based on distance. If you need to reschedule, we'll arrange a new date, typically within two weeks of the original delivery date.
Yes — pickup is available at our workshop in Monroe, Connecticut. Submit your order request and we'll contact you to arrange a pickup date. Pickup appointments are typically confirmed within 24 hours.
Payment & Taxes
We accept all major credit cards and secure online payments. For approved shipping or delivery quotes, you'll receive a payment link by email.
A 6.35% sales tax applies to mailboxes, posts, and brackets. Installation services are not taxable.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Yes — returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for unused items in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Custom orders and custom colors are non-returnable.
Yes — a 30% restocking fee applies to returned items. Because each piece is handcrafted, this helps cover materials and inspection.
Please fill out our Return Form or email info@mrsmailbox.art with your order details. Refunds are processed within 3–14 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item.
Please note any visible damage on the delivery ticket before signing. Then notify us within 24 hours of delivery by email and include photos of the damage. All shipments are fully insured, and we'll help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Installation & Care
Yes — all Complete Sets include the mailbox, post, and bracket as a cohesive design. Each set is thoughtfully paired to ensure both visual harmony and structural compatibility. Please refer to each product page under "What's Included" for full details.

Professional installation is not required, but recommended for the best results. Proper placement and stability are important for both appearance and long-term use.
