By visiting the website, submitting an order request, purchasing a product, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any related policies referenced on the website.
Products & Services
Mrs. Mailbox offers handcrafted mailbox systems, related components, custom work, fulfillment services, and installation services when available.
Products may vary slightly in finish, color, wood grain, texture, dimensions, or handcrafted detail. Natural and minor variations are not considered defects.
We may modify, update, limit, or discontinue products and services without prior notice. Product descriptions, pricing, availability, and fulfillment options are subject to change before an order is confirmed.
Product Collections
The Mrs. Mailbox Collection and Complete Sets have different installation terms.
Mrs. Mailbox Collection product prices include the mailbox, post, and bracket unless otherwise stated. Installation is not included and may be quoted separately based on the location and ground conditions.
Complete Set prices include the mailbox, post, bracket, and installation anywhere in Connecticut unless otherwise stated on the product page.
The individual product page and confirmed order details determine what is included in a specific purchase.
Order Requests & Acceptance
Submitting an order request through the website does not complete a purchase, guarantee availability, or require Mrs. Mailbox to accept the order.
We may accept, adjust, decline, or cancel a request or order for reasons including:
- Product availability
- Pricing or description errors
- Shipping or delivery limitations
- Installation location or site conditions
- Incomplete or inaccurate information
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
We will contact you if material changes are required before the order is confirmed.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Shipping, delivery, customization, and installation for Mrs. Mailbox Collection products may require additional payment.
After reviewing the order request, we will communicate any applicable additional charges and provide payment instructions or a secure payment link.
Orders are not considered confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received and accepted.
We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by third-party payment processors.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are determined according to the products, services, customer location, and order details.
Taxes and other required charges will be communicated or displayed before payment is completed when reasonably possible.
Installation
Installation is included with Complete Sets anywhere in Connecticut unless otherwise stated.
Installation is not included with products in the Mrs. Mailbox Collection. Installation for those products may be available for an additional fee based on location, accessibility, ground conditions, removal requirements, and other site-specific factors.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate property information, disclosing known underground or site conditions, and obtaining any necessary permissions.
Mrs. Mailbox is not responsible for damage or performance issues caused by customer installation, third-party installation, improper placement, unauthorized modifications, or hardware not supplied or approved by Mrs. Mailbox.
Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
Shipping and local delivery availability depend on the product, location, carrier requirements, and order details.
Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, material availability, incorrect customer information, and other conditions outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
Pickup is available by appointment for eligible orders. Customers must receive confirmation before arriving at the workshop.
Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Store Policies.
Custom products, custom colors, personalized products, installed products, used products, and products modified after delivery are non-returnable unless otherwise required or agreed in writing.
Approved refunds are processed after the returned product has been received and inspected. Applicable restocking fees and non-refundable service or transportation charges may be deducted.
Damage Claims
Customers must inspect shipped products promptly.
Visible shipping damage should be recorded on the carrier’s delivery documentation. Damage claims must be reported within the period stated in our Store Policies and must include the requested photographs and order information.
Intellectual Property
All website content—including photographs, videos, product designs, branding, logos, text, graphics, and page layouts—is owned by or licensed to Mrs. Mailbox.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, sold, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the website:
- For unlawful purposes
- To interfere with website security or functionality
- To submit false or misleading information
- To infringe intellectual-property rights
