Orders & Production
Every Mrs. Mailbox piece is handcrafted using premium-quality materials for long lasting durability and design. Depending on the manufacturer, most mailboxes feature a powder-coated finish and can be custom painted to complement your home and style preferences.
In-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom orders vary depending on materials and design complexity. We'll confirm your estimated production timeline after your order is placed.
Changes and cancellations are accepted before production begins. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order details. No fees apply to approved changes made before production starts. Once production has begun, changes may not be possible.
Custom orders — including custom colors and custom designs — are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun. Please review all custom specifications carefully before placing your order.
Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship within the United States only. Local delivery and in-person pickup are also available throughout Connecticut at no additional charge for qualified orders.
Because of the size and weight of our pieces, shipping costs are calculated individually based on your delivery address and carrier rates. After your order is placed, we'll review your address and email your exact shipping quote within 24 hours. Once you approve the quote, we'll send a secure payment link by email to complete your order.
A signature is required upon delivery to ensure your order arrives safely and remains fully insured throughout transit. Please make arrangements to be available at the time of delivery.
Local delivery is available throughout Connecticut, Monday through Saturday. Delivery fees are based on distance. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduled deliveries are typically arranged within two weeks of the original delivery date.
Payment & Taxes
We accept all major credit cards and secure online payments. Once your order request has been reviewed and confirmed, you'll receive a secure payment link or invoice by email to complete your purchase.
A Connecticut sales tax of 6.35% applies to mailboxes, posts, and brackets. Installation services are not subject to sales tax. Tax is calculated and applied automatically at checkout for applicable orders.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for unused items in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Custom orders and custom colors are non-returnable.
A 30% restocking fee applies to all returned items. Because each piece is handcrafted to order, this fee helps cover materials, inspection, and preparation for resale.
To begin a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. Once your return is approved, we'll provide shipping instructions. Refunds are processed within 3–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
Damaged Items
All shipments are fully insured. If your order arrives damaged, please note any visible damage directly on the delivery ticket before signing. Then notify us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@mrsmailbox.art and include clear photos of the damage and packaging. We'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Damage claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for resolution through the carrier's insurance process. We strongly recommend inspecting your order at the time of delivery.
Installation
Professional installation is not required, but it is recommended for the best results. Proper placement and structural stability are important for both the long-term appearance and durability of your piece.

Mrs. Mailbox is not liable for damage resulting from improper installation, incorrect placement, or use of hardware not supplied or specified by us. We recommend following all included instructions and consulting a professional if you are unsure.
